Give a Unique Dads and Grads Gift this Year

without comments

It’s almost that time of the year again – the Dads and Grads season. For some, it’s almost as stressful as Christmas. You have less gifts to buy, but they mean more to the ones you’re giving them to than a regular holiday gift. Do you really want to take the easy way out and give Grads cash and Dad another tool or tie? Or would your like to give a gift that’s sure to be a surprise and a favorite?

There’s a great gift available this year that Dads and Grads will love. Regardless of whether your graduate or Dad is “into” technology, virtual reality glasses will be the big hit of this year’s celebration.

What are Widescreen Glasses?

Imagine putting on a pair of lightweight glasses and having your own cinema experience any place and at any time. That’s what portable wide screen video glasses accomplish. Connect them to your iPod, gaming console, DVD player or TV and you’re instantly immersed in an intense, dynamic audio and video experience. You’ll instantly enjoy 52-inch widescreen video entertainment as if at a distance of nine feet. Switch on the built-in headphones, and you’re totally immersed in the closes thing to a virtual reality experience available today.

Everything’s in the Box

There are several varieties of widescreen video glasses on the market today, and Vuzix iWear AV230 XL video glasses are a great choice. Almost all widescreen video glasses come complete with everything you need to experience portable widescreen entertainment. These glasses are very lightweight and comfortable. Built in headphones and rechargeable batteries are included with your widescreen video glasses purchase. Nearly all versions are compatible with any a/v device that has composite video-out capabilities.

A One Size Fits All Gift

Everyone has at least some audio-visual device they use regularly, whether it’s a PC, laptop, mobile phone, iPod or DVD player, so this is a terrific gift for every Dad and Grad. Students going off to college can enjoy big screen entertainment without the big screen. College graduates can save on the high cost of a big screen TV for their new apartment, and still enjoy widescreen entertainment. Dads can escape to their own world of wide screen sports games, movies and more. Widescreen video glasses can even be worn with regular eyeglasses comfortably, so they truly are a one-size-fits-all gift.

If you do some shopping around online, you’ll find these video glasses are well within your gift-giving budget. Because they come with everything your Dad or Grad needs to start enjoying widescreen video, there’s nothing else to buy. These glasses are an impressive value considering how much they’ll be enjoyed for years to come.

Surprise your Dad, husband, son, daughter or other loved one with a gift they’ll be thrilled to receive for graduation or Father’s Day. Take the opportunity to “wow” them with an extraordinary gift.

Enjoy Portable 53-inch Widescreen Video

without comments

How long did it take you to travel by plane on your last vacation or business trip? If it’s a short flight that’s say 2 hours, it probably takes a total of 4 hours altogether. An hour and a half at the airport checking in and waiting to take off, then the actual flight, and afterwards, another half hour waiting for your luggage to come around.

People that are used to traveling learn how to enjoy flying, including the time it takes and the delays it can involve when things don’t go so smoothly. I took a flight recently, and the guy sitting next to me was wearing space-age looking sunglasses the entire time. They were hooked up to his iPod, and he seemed to be completely oblivious to everything going on around him.

When he took them off when we were starting to descend, I couldn’t help asking what they were. He explained they were widescreen video glasses, and when hooked up to his iPod, they produced the same effect as watching a 52-inch television screen. He must have seen the look of disbelief on my face, because next thing I knew, he was adjusting them to fit my head.

It’s difficult to describe the experience, it was so amazing. I got a glimpse of the movie Planet Terror and the experience was like being shut inside my own personal movie theater. They were lightweight and comfortable to wear, and plugging in the attached earphones cut out noise distractions. In an instant, I was experiencing big screen video right before my eyes.

After trying them out, I had a lot of questions. Time was short, but I did gather these were Vuzix iWear AV310 Widescreen Video Glasses, they cost around $200, and they work with video game systems, laptops, DVDs and all sorts of other portable devices. Any time you want big screen video entertainment, you pull out your Hi Res Video Eyewear and you’re ready to go.

I’d never heard of widescreen video glasses, but I was very impressed. Will I be ordering a pair? You bet, and I’m already looking at which movie download site to join so I can keep my iPod stocked with great videos.
