How to Destroy Your Drive

without comments

The very best external way to destroy files in your hard disk drive is to apply sand paper. Find a smaller screw driver and then open up the hard drive. And then rub the fine sand paper backwards and forwards all over the platters. It is a best way of ensuring that the whole set of data is erased.

Taking a hammer on the hard drive is an additional great method to eliminate it. It can also be liberating as well as fun. The most important thing to keep in mind when hammering a harddrive is that it has to be completely destroyed so no data can be recovered. Use all of your power and take full swings using the hammer.

A magnetic field can be a harddrive’s worst enemy. Moving magnets above it may corrupt all of the data on the disk drive. You have to use a high powered magnet, such as a neodymium magnet. To be on the safe side, make use of the hammer or sand paper strategy whenever finished. You can never be too sure with your personal data.

Water isn’t any good for computer components. Placing the harddrive in water will definitely mess it up to the point where data is going to be hard to retrieve. In order to be certain of its destruction, you can add chlorine bleach in the mixture. Fill your bath tub with water plus dump a gallon of chlorine bleach within the water. Soak the hard disk for one hour.

Computer drives go good along with burgers and also hotdogs. If you are looking for a imaginative method to destroy your hard disk drive, you could try putting it on the barbeque grill next time you’ve got a barbecue. The heat should burn all of the crucial parts, and information won’t be able to be restored.

Simply getting rid of the documents then emptying your recycle bin will not forever delete your information. The files could be restored quite easily then employed against you. Personal pictures, credit card number, and financial information can all be reached if you’re not careful.

This was just a little information on how to destroy hard drive, check out some more about a hard drive eraser.

Useful Tips For Buying Gaming Computer Parts Online

without comments

Buying gaming computer parts online is the way to go if you want to find the best deals. However you also need to bear in mind that just because you are buying something online, does not mean that it is automatically going to be a good deal; as well as good deals, there are a number of very bad deals to be had online. You do not want to end up with a bad deal on the internet but even more important, you do not want the wrong person to end up with your credit details. So if you are thinking of buying gaming computer parts on the internet, the tips below will help to ensure you get a good deal.

- When it comes to buying online, most of us just do it without any worries because it is something that we are so used to doing. No matter how safe it is to buy from the internet usually, you could still end up the victim of some less than savoury characters who are trying to rip people off so you need to be careful. Only deal with dealers you are sure of and never give your credit card details to anyone unless you trust them 100%.

- Before buying from a website such as eBay, you need to check the ratings of the seller. If the rating is not great or if you notice too many negative comments then it would be better if you walked away. You will also have to be very careful about buying from new sellers if they don’t have any ratings yet.

- In order to be sure of getting a good deal you need to have something to compare it with; just accepting the first price you see as the best one isn’t the right way to go about things. There is no way you are going to want to check out the prices of every seller but it is a good idea to check the prices with the most popular sellers.

If you’re a Playstation 3 player, unless you have been residing beneath a rock you should have heard of ps3 jailbreak. There are other Playstation 3 products that just about all gamers ought to take an interest in, for example the ps3 key and the ps3 yes.

The different kinds of Computer Wares

without comments

From Cheap laptop computers. Your PC may seem like it is  made up of the keyboard, the mouse and the monitor but this is only because these are things that you frequently see  and use. The truth is, there is more to Personal Computers than meets the eye. Literally. In fact, its most important parts are actually hidden from the eyes and housed in a  box that you often feel to be too bulky.

You don’t realize that without this big box, you will not have an operating Computer. This is called the CPU or  the central processing unit. The CPU together with the monitor makes up the Computer Parts. The Desktop Components refers to the parts that people can physically touch. The Hard ware includes  the processor for which the brand INTEL is famous for, the motherboard where all the parts are adhered to, the hard disk where you will store all the files that you have, the memory which helps keep multiple processes manageable and the graphic and sound card which allows you to be more  interactive. The monitor on the other hand is entirely separate from the CPU. It is where we view all the Computer work that we do.

This is the counterpart of the programs and the operating system that can be found inside the Computer. This is called the software, because it cannot be touched physically. It is just inside the Desktop. It is the windows that you use everyday right from the moment that you open the Computer. It is the Microsoft office that you tinker with or the solitaire game that you relax with during lunchtimes.

Both the Hardware and software parts of the PC is important. The Hard ware is the one that makes all the processes possible. It converts data and presents it in a way that is understandable for  you. The software on the other hand makes it more easier for you to manage and do. The truth is Desktops deal with numbers that will completely be alien language to most people. Having these two interact allows you to create files and make use of these processes in your daily life.

Another important part of the Computer is the people ware which is you  the user. Without someone who will operate the Computer, it will not work. It needs the commands that only you can give whether you do it by typing commands or by clicking the mouse.

Making Sure Your Computer Parts Works Fine

without comments

From Cheap netbook. You can increase the life of your PC Parts if you just clean it properly. Yes, believe it or not, the amount of dust accumulated in your Hardware can slowly choke the life out of it. By simply opening up the Computer tower and dusting off the dirt that on your motherboard, peripherals and fans you can get to use your PC for a long time or just until the time you need to upgrade your system.

The fans would be the first ones you need to clean. You will find the blades thick with dirt which can cause the fan to run slower. This will greatly affect your overall cooling system which can affect the overall performance of your Desktop and worse cause your Computer to overheat. Heat is the worst enemy of Desktop Components. You have to clean all the fans, including the fan of the processor, the chip set if it has one and even the one on the video card.

Aside from the fans, the cooling vents of the Computer tower needs to be cleaned as well. Good and clean working fans won’t be that much good if the vents are all blocked up. The heated air from the inside of the Desktop tower will not be vented out causing the warm air to just go round and round inside the tower.

Using a soft brush can do the trick, but there are some places where the brushes cannot reach or clean properly. The inside parts of the peripheral or RAM slots for example are quite difficult to clean. What you can do is buy a can of compressed air which is readily available in any office supply or Computer Hardware shops. The compressed air will blow away the dust from the components. Just make sure to keep the nozzle of the can at least four inches away when you do this. This is to prevent the compressed air from damaging your components.

Other things that you will need when cleaning your PC includes screwdrivers, rubbing alcohol, paper towels or better yet those anti-static cloths, and cotton swabs. To not use cotton balls because you will have a higher chance of leaving cotton threads around your Personal Computer.

For cleaning the inside, generally brushing and the canned of compressed air will do the trick. For the case you might need those cotton swabs to clean the vent holes. The monitor needs the anti-static cloths or damp paper towels. The keyboards need brushing and some compressed air action. If you’re a fairly need guy at home and don’t own pets that shed, you can clean your Desktop every eight months or so. If otherwise, we do recommend a three month cleaning schedule.
